Finding a job you love and will want to get up for each morning can be difficult sometimes. There are a lot of jobs out there though, and if you want it bad enough you can have it. You have to sell yourself though. Be the kind of person they need more of; hard working, positive, motivated, out going, and responsible. I know of some fun jobs for younger adults.
Leasing apartments has always sounded like a fun job to me. If you do not like to interact with people, this is not the job for you. It takes a motivated, hard working person that is willing to learn. You will need to learn about sales if you do not already have the knowledge, and learn about how people work and what they react to. Remember, you can never learn too much or know too much! This will also help you later in life for your career. This could even turn into a career if you want to move up in the company.
Being a server is a very fun and upbeat job, and it has a lot of money in it depending on where you work. Remember, servers only make .13 hourly wage, so the tips is really what they make. Expensive places means more tips, also busier places. This job takes patience, positivity, and a lot of energy. It is probably not something you want to do for the rest of your life, but it is a great job as a second job or a great way to make money during school. If you love the restaurant business and really have a passion for it, work your way up. Become manager, then eventually own your own restaurant.
Working as a club promoter is fun as well! This takes a lot of energy, and may take up a lot of your nights, and I mean all night. This is probably not the best job to have if you have kids. It is a lot of fun, and keeps you busy. You will meet a lot of people, know of all the parties, know about almost every restaurant, club, and bar. This job can be abused though, so if you have a drinking problem I suggest not taking it. There will be alcohol around you most of the time. I also do not suggest taking this job if you have school every day. This is a better job for part time students in college.
These are fun jobs for younger adults while trying to decide what they would like a career in. Whatever you decide to do, work hard at it. It will only help you advance. If in any way you can better yourself or learn something, do it!
